Long Description

To operate the silos at the port for efficient ship unloading and truck loading for an assigned shift

Long Description

Operate Silo units

  • Receive and implement the RM receiving plans, execute storage and delivery of materials as per plan
  • Coordinate with the Senior Officer - Shipment Coordination and the Operators - Scale for bulk raw material delivery
  • Prepare and submit reports related to raw material wise silo usage to the Superintendent - Silo & Warehouse
  • implement control room-related work assignments. Monitor the administration of established standards and procedures. Identify and report opportunities for improvement and resolves any discrepancies
  • follow up silo operating work, develop and monitor improvements within the port silo and report to the Superintendent - Silo & Warehouse

Long Description

In the course of performing the duties of the Senior Operator - Silos, the employee is generally working inside the main process control room and occasionally exposed to dusty, humid and noisy environment.

With transporter for truck loading

Qualifications:

  • Secondary School Education / Basic Vocation Training

Experience:

  •  2+ years experience in control room operations

Job specific Skills :

  • Knowledge of port silo operations, mobile equipment, control room operations, material inventory and warehousing practices
  • Knowledge of oral and written Arabic or English
