About this role

Job Description

This position serves as the subject matter expert for the administration of rates, inventory and availability for all Aramark Parks and Destinations (APD) direct and indirect distribution channels. This includes, but is not limited to, the central reservations system, online booking engine, property management system, global distribution system and other third party distribution channels. The Coordinator responds to each line of business requests to load and update rates, inventory, and general content across various channels and to communicate those changes to internal and external constituents.

Job Responsibilities

•    Load all lodging and activity rates, changes and inventory restrictions across all direct and indirect channels including the PMS, CRES, Umbraco web-based content tool and third party systems based on APDs standards;
•    Maximize inventory availability across all channels through the use of free-sell and/or scheduled inventory strategies; 
•    Ensure that sell-out and oversell strategies, rate restrictions, and hole-eradication strategies are in place to maximize revenue and sales potential and communicate this to the individual lines of business;
•    Help manage and support the day-to-day maintenance of APDs property websites, online booking engine and email confirmations; load and maintain content, photographs, and products to ensure all touch points are updated with accurate content and availability/inventory
•    Communicate regularly and work cohesively with key stakeholders in Revenue Management, Call Center Operations, and Property/Regional Teams to ensure the highest level of conversion and sales effectiveness; follow through with stakeholders to ensure strategies are being fulfilled; 
•    Troubleshoot system issues with Springer Miller and other vendors to ensure open issues are being resolved in a timely manner; assist with testing of systems when fixes or enhancements are deployed; 
•    Continuously seek methods to improve line of business revenue and booking performance in all systems; recommend system enhancements and provide technical assistance when necessary; 
•    Assist with special projects as requested.

 

Qualifications

Although this is a remote role, the ideal candidate will live in the greater Phoenix metro area and be able to reliably commuted to 1661 E Camelback Road in Phoenix, for training. Experience with accounting and heavy data entry with attention to detail is critical for this role.

•    Extensive knowledge of all company systems including SMS-Host (central reservations system), PMS (property management systems), online booking engine and 3rd party distribution systems required; comprehensive understanding of APDs properties, policies and procedures preferred;•    Background in inventory management and prior experience in the hospitality/travel/tourism industry preferred;
•    Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload; meets deadlines and performs multiple tasks with a high attention to detail; 
•    Strategic thinker and tactical implementer with strong analytical abilities; 
•    Can learn quickly and adapt to change in a fast-paced, high performance driven culture;
•    Highly motivated, self-sufficient, dependable and able to operate effectively without close supervision; must demonstrate initiative by taking ownership to troubleshoot and resolve issues with minimal direction from others;
•    Outstanding computer skills; must be browser proficient and possess the ability to effectively communicate technical information to individuals with non-technical backgrounds; 
•    Effective communication and interpersonal skills; 
•    Demonstrates a high level of customer service by responding to internal and external customer needs until satisfied; utilizes effective decision-making and problem-solving skills;
•    Team player who fulfills commitments to other team members with a positive attitude; able to work collaboratively and cooperatively with other leaders and stakeholders throughout the organization.
