Advice and leadership on employee and union or works council relations. Advises management on legal/labour law/regulatory issues and risk management. Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
- Plan and lead implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) in the factory with process sponsors, teams, manufacturing groups in order to achieve recertification and minimum maturity targets.
- Drive the recruitment process at the plant level for production employees; Ensure timely recruitment with required skill sets as per approved manpower plan within reasonable costs.
- Ensure induction, assimilation & completion of joining formalities for all new recruits.
- Work with the plant leadership team and HRBP on employee development philosophy of the organization.
- Depth knowledge in industrial relation and solving the worker's problem.
- Handling Industrial labour related issues.
- Ensure compliance to all labour related statutes in coordination with the Legal & HRBP.
- Interact and support shop floor managers to ensure the adherence of agreed settlements and monitoring of various incentives plans.
- Lead domestic enquiries, departmental enquiries and follow up and monitor labour court cases for the unit.
- Participate in Charter of Demands along with the HR Leader in preparations, negotiations, and signing of the agreement.
- Liasoning with Factory Inspector and all Govt. Depts (Labor, PF, ESIC, GIDC etc.).
- Monitor timely and accurate payroll management for all plant employees.
- Lead training needs identification for all employees and coordinate with L&D team for development of training programs.
- Implement and monitor suitable processes of exit interview, relieving and settlement procedures; Coordinate with payroll and other departments to ensure smooth process.
- Provide Department Budget estimation and cost to enable budget preparation and finalization and ensure adherence to the same.
- Undertake employee engagement activities to keep workforce motivated at all levels across departments.
- Optimize costs through process improvements, develop alternative sources of vendors and reduction of costs.
- Support the plant in ISO 14001 & 9001, 5S, initiatives & other audits.
- Drive the Kaizen program along with Lean team.
- People who provides advice, counsel and responsive on employee and unions/works council relations. Advises management on legal/labour law/regulatory issues and risk management. Includes those who lead Labour Relations teams, and/or the operations for such teams. For use in Business or Shared Service teams. (Excludes HR support for hourly/non-exempt organizations)
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy. Basic knowledge of related job disciplines.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May steer small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
- Jobs at this level function with some autonomy but are subject to functional practices and precedents or are covered by well-defined policies or review of end results. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).
- Uses some judgment and has the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems. Has ability to prioritize information for data research. Uses technical experience and data centric thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own team to arrive at conclusions.

Basic Qualifications(requirements):
- MBA, MSW, PGD (HR)/ MHRM/ MLW/ MHRD with good academic record. 10-15 years of relevant experience in factory.
- Hands on experience in Industrial relations with Internal & External Stakeholder Management.
- General administration & MIS reports. Well versed with MS-Office.

- Strong background in Industrial relations including, ability to align union partnership strategies with organizational goals while ensuring employee trust, compliance and workplace stability.
- In-depth knowledge of Labour Laws, compliance frameworks and collective agreements.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to influence others and lead small teams. Steer initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
- Effective in proactively problem identification and addressing with sustainable solutions.
- Proven analytical and organizational ability.
