Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer with expertise in manual testing, Agile Scrum methodologies, and the flexibility to work in Agile Scrum and Kanban environments. The ideal candidate should be able to ensure the quality of our software products by executing thorough testing, reporting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional team

Knowledge: Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.

Complexity: Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.

Supervision: Determines methods and procedures on new assignments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Own and accountable for all the assigned QA activities.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Working closely with developers, product managers, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of new features.
• Continuous Learning and Improvement: Staying abreast of the latest developments in ERP technology, particularly in the fresh produce sector, and applying this knowledge to enhance product offerings.
• Creates and executes feature level test designs and test cases for the end-to-end application.
• Understands the Customer scenarios.
• Can design negative path testing scenarios and contribute to ad-hoc testing.
• Follows best practices for Testing.
• Development and testing of new software integrations and solutions.
• Demonstrate creativity in identifying effective approaches to software and solution development process and promote opportunities for product innovation.
• Identify product requirements and potential improvements and discuss them with the development team.
• Participate in the complete software development life cycle from requirement gathering to deployment of the product.
• Interface with the professional services team, support team, and Customer/Partners to address issues in the production.
• Cultivate strong working relationships with co-workers.

Qualification:

• Minimum Education: E/B.Tech/MCA
• Minimum Experience and Skills: 2 to 4 years of software testing experience.

Technical skills:

• SDLC, Test Design Techniques, Test Management, Estimation.
• Testing, Test Case Documentation, Defect Logging, Defect Analysis.
• Good experience in Automation Testing.
• Test Management tools like Azure Devops.
• Environmental Setup Configuration, Debugging.
• Working knowledge in Programming/Scripting languages like JavaScript, Python, Java, C#.
• Web Service API testing, RESTful API or SOAP, web methods, etc for integration with other systems and applications.
• Good knowledge of database concepts, Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL installation/configuration/Admin and DBA, profiling tools, worked on any of reporting tools like SSAS, SSRS; awareness of datawarehouse concepts, data mining, Analytics is an advantage.
• Cloud Platforms: Understanding of cloud services and platforms such AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, especially if the ERP solutions are cloud-based. And interest in furthering understanding of designs and best practices for cloud services.
• Agile Development Practices: Knowledge of Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
• Good to have – Azure DevOps Pipeline, DevOps methods and tools, version control tools like Git or SVN.
• Testing Tools: Familiarity with software testing tools and methodologies to ensure the reliability and quality of the developed features.

Other Skills:

• ERP Specific Tools: Experience with ERP software development tools or platforms, particularly those related to the fresh produce industry, could be beneficial.
• Nice to have – Exposure to the fresh produce or perishables industry.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively liaising between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Good team player.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex technical challenges.
• Adaptability and Learning Orientation: Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Mentoring and Coaching, Intercultural skills.
• Ability to Work with Global Teams at different time zones.
