Civil Technical Specialist 
ATG (Applied Technology Group) is the premier technology business partner for the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry in North America. LOCATION: Offices in North Little Rock, AR, and Phoenix, AZ. Open to remote in other locations.  

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Independently handle complex Civil 3D projects and documentation. 

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure coordinated and conflict-free models, designs, or workflows. 

• Perform detailed quality checks to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications for civil. 

• Mentor clients and team members and assist in technical troubleshooting using Civil 3D and civil design. 

• Deliver training, advanced software implementation, and standards set up for client projects on Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and possibly other software included in the Autodesk AEC collection 

• Assist with drafting, content creation, and process improvements for client projects. 

• Stay updated on advancements in modeling tools, standards, and best practices in the civil discipline. 

• Producing Scopes of Work (SOWs) if needed 

• Participate and guide client meetings and Initial Assessments. 

• Conduct advanced coordination and resolution of design conflicts or integration issues. 

• Organize multiple projects + clients 

• Be part of the Civil Team and share knowledge, help other team members, and provide insight to team discussions 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• 8+ years of experience performing Civil 3D Design and Drafting 

• Experience with stormwater drainage, drainage analysis, and hydrographs (preferably using Autodesk or Innovyze software) 

• Experience with content creation + process improvement for client projects in Civil 3D and Autodesk Construction Cloud 

• Know how to create Civil 3D styles 

• Experience collaborating with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure coordinated and conflict-free models, designs, or workflows. 

• Expertise in performing detailed quality checks to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications. 

• Experience providing technical troubleshooting support for clients 

• Up-to-date knowledge of advancements in Civil 3D, standards, and best practices in the civil discipline. 

• Strong communication skills. 

• Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. 

• Ability to guide a meeting with client + keep tasks and projects organized 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Knowledge of Recap 

• Knowledge of Infraworks 

• CAD Manager experience 

• Proficiency in delivering training, implementing advanced software solutions, and setting up standards for client projects in Civil 3D and ACC. 

• Autodesk Professional Certification in Civil 3D and AutoCAD 

• Autodesk Instructor Certification
