About this role

Ensure product entering operations or inventory meets all design requirements by confirming dimensional characteristics, visual/cosmetic attributes, functional operation and supporting documentation review. Basic understanding of Metrology concepts including Blueprint layout & GD&T. Support basic manual (surface plate and visual) inspection of parts and packaging. Conduct basic manual (surface plate and visual) inspection of parts and packaging. Compare measurement outputs against design requirements and determines pass/fail). Maintains inspection tooling and equipment to ensure results reliability and repeatability. Conduct basic CMM part setup and probe calibration. Demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broadens capabilities. Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. No supervisory responsibilities but provides informal guidance to new team members. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.
