Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all materials shortages working closely with Central Purchasing/Supplier Account Management/Suppliers and respective functions to ensure supply continuity to keep production lines running
  • Responsible for managing end to end supply/demand planning for complex commodity for Conductor Etch portfolio
  • Work with suppliers on capacity planning, lead time reduction, material cost savings, ramp readiness, obsolescence management, change management and special projects as assigned
  • Identify and qualify dual sources while working with internal stakeholders to mitigate single point of failures
  • Take lead on internal and external relationships to ensure consistent, timely and effective communication regarding material availability
  • Material Planning for all critical parts with business knowledge to plan and drive strategic supply to ensure consistent and adequate supply of materials in meeting business demand and changes
  • Work with respective functions; engineering, manufacturing, quality, accounting to resolve issues and ensure supply continuity
  • Interface (Focal) point for the BU for all related materials shortages escalation (1st level escalation) and resolution. Work with suppliers exploring all possibilities to resolve shortages and provide timely update to demand management
  • Attend Supplier war room meeting for assigned supplier and commodities
  • Expedites and ensures the timely receipt of critical materials
  • Coordinates/drives purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to maintain inventory at planned levels.   Leads problem resolution for material related accounting and receiving issues
  • Design, develop and implement flexible solutions to aid Supply and Purchasing efficiency, drive process improvements and add value
  • Maintain SAP master data accuracy for assigned parts/commodity
  • Reviews MRP on a regular basis. Identifies issues and escalates as necessary to materials management. Reviews and ensures actions per disposition of ECOs on a worldwide basis
  • Maintains inventory levels per plan and performs E&Z analysis.  Minimizes excess and zero demand inventory.  Provides input to management regarding action plans to address long term issues
  • Pulls and reads part specifications and engineering drawings.  Utilizes knowledge of material types to communicate with engineers and suppliers. Provides feedback to engineering for cost reduction efforts

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
