Work closely with build and test technicians to identify process improvement opportunities Execute time studies on the build and test lines Lead small manufacturing process improvement projects Develop and update operation method sequences (OMSs) Support manufacturing engineering with part defect root cause analysis and processing Student must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field Student must be in good academic standing, with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale. Demonstrated skills in troubleshooting and hands-on problem solving Must be a quick learner and willingness to learn new skills Engineering experience in development or manufacturing environment This position may require standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools. Additionally, because this position also may involve working in a clean room, the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields may be required.
