Active participation in the development, optimization, and qualification of BEOL processes to meet performance, yield, and reliability requirements. Partner with process module engineers (e.g., etch, deposition, lithography) to improve device and yield performance in high-volume manufacturing. Work with cross-functional teams including end customers, FEOL/BEOL Integration, Device, Defect Reduction, Reliability, Quality, and external customers to support milestones and resolve technical queries. Design, execute, and analyze results from Design of Experiments (DOE) to solve complex process engineering issues, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement mitigation plans for yield or performance problems. Design, collect data, analyze and compile reports on a wide range of complex process engineering experiments for multiple products, within safety guidelines Utilize techniques to characterize hardware, define methods and apply new technologies to characterize hardware, and/or perform hardware characterization on a wide range of complex systems for multiple products, within safety guidelines Experience in BEOL optics or semiconductor fabrication preferred Demonstrates depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized discipline or field Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view
