Description
In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to a Senior Director and Director and their global engineering teams through proactive calendar management, effectively prioritizing inquiries and requests while resolving scheduling conflicts and making sound judgments to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. You will coordinate complex meetings involving multiple executives and locations, both in person and virtually, while leveraging strong problem-solving skills to address challenges as they arise. The position requires managing a wide range of projects with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness, as well as planning, coordinating, and executing internal events such as off-sites and team-building activities. Additionally, you will oversee the management of a floor plate, which includes maintaining conference rooms, ordering and stocking supplies and snacks, updating floor plans, submitting facilities and maintenance requests, and ensuring compliance with all security and privacy protocols. You will also support employees by distributing equipment, processing access requests, and assigning desk allocations, all while adhering to established operational policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 4+ years of administrative and calendaring experience supporting senior leadership, preferably in a high tech environment.
Calendar Management: Prioritize inquiries and requests, resolve conflicts, and offer recommendations for seamless day-to-day operations.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team, establishing trust and fostering strong relationships internally and externally.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
Event Coordination: Plan and execute internal events such as off-site and team-building activities.
Excellent organizational skills, acute attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment.
Applicants must be capable of lifting packages weighing up to 20 lbs and able to push a cart.
Preferred Qualifications
AA or BA/BS degree
Proficiency with iCal, Keynote, Mail and other OS X based office systems a plus.
Direct experience handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity, discretion and utmost confidentiality
Proven track record of meeting deadlines, attention to detail, and taking initiative to make confident and well-informed decisions.
Highly motivated and enjoys fast paced environment; ability to switch gears quickly.
Ability to handle conflict appropriately, knowing when to delegate issues upward and when to apply common sense.About Apple
