As a Relationship Manager, you’ll play a key role in guiding customers to make confident decisions that shape the future of their business. You’ll spend your time building trusted relationships with Business customers and helping them move forward with confidence. Key responsibilities of the role will include the following:
Build sustainable long-term client relationships and grow critical customer portfolios across the commercial and property sectors
Align with overall business strategies to source and maximise new business, increase effectiveness and keep up to date with market and economic trends
Support customers with their banking needs by simplifying practices and delivering great customer outcomes
Provide customers with effective, value-added solutions whilst managing potential risks and applying financial analysis to identify key insights
You’ll have the freedom to shape your approach while being supported by a team that values connection and community.
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Proven experience in relationship management, business development, portfolio and/or account management
Previous experience in banking/financial/accounting, or relevant business experience would be beneficial, but not essential
Confident relationship building skills in networking, negotiating and influencing to enhance customer relationships, and growth in portfolios
An analytical and growth mind set, with experience in evaluating financial accounts, budgets and cash-flow
Expertise in translating information into insights
Ability to be proactive, approach challenges with a ‘can-do’ attitude, and act decisively with information on hand
