About the Role

 

The Capability Manager plays a role in contributing to the design of our approach to the capability needs outlined in the PACT program. This role exists to support the design, development and implementation of the risk capability framework and the risk capability assessment for management of Non-Financial Risk to strengthen capability across the three lines of defence. The role is expected to engage with a vast range of stakeholders and follow all PACT requirements. 

 

Role Type: 2 year fixed term, full time

Role Location: ANZ Centre: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008

What will your day look like?


As the Senior Capability Consultant, you are accountable for:

  • Building strong relationships: Strong relationship management skills, including the ability to distil diverse insights into actionable, prioritised and commercial designs, leveraging your experience in and credibility, and influencing outcomes
  • Design and adoption: Ability to support the design and build of the risk capability framework and assessment. Support their successful test, refinement and delivery.

  • Experience in and credibility to work with stakeholders to shape and deliver capability initiatives for measurable impact.
  • Strong management skills, including the ability to distil diverse insights into actionable and commercial designs.
  • Strength in influencing outcomes, while building trusted and deep relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Ability to design and build solutions across a blend of modalities, supporting their successful test, refinement and delivery
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Comfort working through ambiguity to solve complex problems.


Desirable knowledge, skills and experience

  • Project and product management skills and the ability to operationalise and run enterprise programs.
  • Experience in capability initiatives across large, complex organisations.
  • Understanding of vendor management and partnerships to deliver strategic initiatives.
  • Qualifications in Organisational Development (OD), Learning, Organisational Psychology, or other relevant professions in HR, Business or Human Behaviour, or equivalent experience gained in learning, compliance, governance, or project support roles.
