Mō te tūranga - About the role

The Relationship Associate is responsible for supporting Relationship Managers in making banking easier for customers. The role will provide the following:

• Customer solutions and insights by conducting financial analysis, and lending support for designated customer groups
• Support customers with simple business needs to the largest privately-owned businesses

Role Location: Gore, Southland
Role Type: Secondment/Fixed Term (12 months), Full-time

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Background or experience within the Agribusiness sector, an understanding of Horticulture would be an advantage

• Great financial literacy, analytical skills, commercial and business acumen is preferred but not essential

• Strong analytical ability to assess and interpret implications of financial trends is preferred but not essential

• Prior experience working with stakeholders and establishing and managing relationships in a customer delivery role/customer experience

• Excellent communication skills both written and oral

• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise

• Experience in the banking industry is advantageous, but not a requirement
