About this role
Please note the following (read carefully):
- This application is for individuals interested in working in the Fredericton & Oromocto Education Centre area (encompassing Keswick, Burtts Corner, Hanwell, Harvey, McAdam, Fredericton Junction, and all areas in between), and who are available to attend our upcoming winter training course. You will NOT move forward in the hiring process unless you are available as follows:
Location: To Be Determined (Within the Fredericton/Oromocto Area)
Dates: February 23, 2026, to February 27, 2026
Time: 08:30 AM - 4:00 pm Daily (Monday-Friday)
- Whereas the nature of a Bus Driver requires timely deployment to work on short notice, it is expected that applicants live within the Fredericton Education Centre boundaries and within a reasonable proximity to selected schools/bus routes. Please note priority will be given to those with addresses in the Fredericton & Oromocto Education Centre area (encompassing Keswick, Burtts Corner, Hanwell, Harvey, McAdam, Fredericton Junction, and all areas in between), If applying from an address outside of these areas, please describe in your application how you would meet these expectations, or your application will be withdrawn.
- Failure to submit all required documents will result in your withdrawal from this requisition. You may reapply once all necessary documents are available for submission.
Bus Driver Qualification Specification - Bus Driver

- Abstract of Driving Record - no more than 1 year old
- Criminal Record Check - no more than 6 months old- see below:
Please request a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Record Check from your police service. If you require a letter for your local police service, you may pick it up from the Receptionist at the following locations:
- Fredericton Education Centre – 20 Knowledge Park Drive, Fredericton New Brunswick
- Oromocto Education Centre - 17 Miramichi Road, Oromocto New Brunswick
