The Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) is searching for a Site Investigation Trenchless Technologist Tunnel Engineer to support and enhance our project delivery team. 

What will you be doing as our new Site Investigation Trenchless Technologist Tunnel Engineer?  

In this role, you will be accountable for all aspects of the trenchless crossing design within the IC2 site investigations programme from their inception to delivery of works on site and post site works up to submission of GIRs to the design teams.

The Site Investigation Trenchless Technology Tunnel Engineer is a key role within the Strategic Pipeline Alliance and is accountable for all site investigations for the IC2 Site Investigations Programme.

Key responsibilities: 

• To undertake the trenchless crossing design of the site investigations at all stages of SI delivery
• Ensure a consistent approach to the delivery of quality of site investigation engineering outputs.
• Work with the SI design coordinators and reviewers in developing the site investigation designs
• Support and utilise the GIS team to produce design outputs and as-built aspects.
• Develop a collaborative culture within the site investigation team to ensure consistent quality outputs

A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours: 

This job might be for you if you are:  

• Educated to degree level in a relevant Engineering degree ideally Tunnelling, Geotechnics or Geology
• Experienced in the design and checking of site investigation designs
• Organised and have the ability think constructively, with the ability to organise own and teams workload and priorities.
• Manages situations proactively and has ability to think and plan ahead
• Comfortable in presenting and talking to a wide range of teams and customers
