About The Team:


The Voyager team in Anduril Industries is an engineering and design division with a vast experience in developing
innovative computing and communications solutions for the network edge. The team specializes in integrating
enterprise networking capabilities from global IT leaders with purpose-built hardware and software platforms designed
to meet market demands for the most stringent of environmental requirements.
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical team in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in mechanical design, specialising in design principles & processes including, sheetmetal, turned/milled,
injection moulded, cast and extruded parts.


Key Responsibilities


• Work within the engineering team to design rugged edge technology equipment.
• Primary role is enclosure design using various design principles & processes including, sheetmetal, turned/milled,
injection moulded, cast and extruded parts.
• Liaise with the Hardware team on PCBA & cable design
• Generate parts on PLM system
• Liaise with suppliers to get custom parts built
• Spec off-the-shelf components & source for prototype build
• Product prototype assembly or disassembly, including the development of build instructions and other general product
development documentation
• Validate design through environmental testing in contracted test labs to applicable standards (MIL-810-H for example)
• Work through the prototype process to finalised design ready for production
• Define & handover mechanical BOM to NPI team via PLM system
• General Engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product
• Generate and accurately maintain all product development documentation at all stages of the product lifecycle.
• Carry out product inspections, investigate product failures, part measurements, etc.
• Liaise with Production Test and Quality teams throughout the development process and support during product lifecycle.


Required Qualifications


• Degree Qualification in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years previous design experience in an R&D environment


Preferred Qualifications


• Industrial and manufacturing knowledge or experience
• 3D modelling skills is a requirement (Creo Parametric, Siemens NX or similar)
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management systems would be advantageous (Creo Windchill, Teamcentre or similar)
• Experience with an ERP system like SAP Business One or Oracle is desirable but not essential.

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual
salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business
considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of
