ABOUT THE TEAM
The Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Engineering Team is responsible for designing and integrating advanced hardware for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms. Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Engineers own the full development lifecycle, from concept generation, to integration and flight test, ensuring high-performance, resilient, and scalable mechanical systems that meet the demands of complex, contested environments.
- B.S. or M.E, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years’ experience in aerospace or related industry
- Excellent communication and team skills
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Siemens NX proficiency
- TOP SECRET DoD clearance
- UAV design experience
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. What you'll do
- The engineer will be responsible for developing, tracking, and maintaining mass properties data, including weight, center of gravity, and inertia, throughout the air vehicle design phases. This includes estimating, calculating, measuring, and verifying these properties for components, assemblies, and completed systems, as well as authoring the Weights and Balance Manual.
