JOB DESCRIPTION
Major responsibilities are listed but not necessarily limited to the following duties.

  • Lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage project schedules and budgets in collaboration with both local and remote team members.
  • Ensure project control in accordance with documented procedures and standards.
  • Coordinate with engineering personnel to complete design phases efficiently.
  • Oversee the timely production of project deliverables and adherence to milestone dates.
  • Work closely with the procurement group to assist with technical and commercial contracts with sub-suppliers.
  • Monitor sub-supplier performance, ensuring compliance with schedule and quality requirements.
  • Maintain effective communication and coordination with customers at multiple organizational levels throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve project quality issues promptly and effectively.
  • Prepare and issue monthly project status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage project challenges proactively, maintaining positive relationships with customers and partners.
  • Support sales team in pre-sale efforts as needed.

 

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management, preferably in an industrial or engineering environment. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate a plus.
  • Experience in the Pulp & Paper industry is a strong plus.
  • Strong team collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal); proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project); familiarity with AutoCAD, SAP and 3D Navis Model is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different phases.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to instill a sense of urgency when needed.
