Job Description:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pull parts for ticket production, pick list, and customer orders

Maintain accurate inventory

Complete transaction sheet/bar coding

Sort and report scrap material

Operate lift equipment as needed

Remove empty carts and replace with full carts as needed

Unload trucks/carts

Pull and review packing lists

Check received goods against purchase orders

Process paperwork

Tag and store material

Assure quality standards understood and they are met

Ability to constructively work with others

Perform Safety audits

Follow standard work, control plans, and written work instructions

Participate in continuous improvement process and other lean initiatives

Coach and train new associates

Unload dip rack/cup trucks as needed

Perform cycle counts

Enter computer data; print out reports

Operate small machines as needed

Assure conformance with 5S program

Assure compliance with all related safety policies and procedures

Understand and participate in achieving departmental and company goals


QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
High School Graduate/GED/HSED

Problem-solving skills

Demonstrated attention to detail

Basic reading and math skills

Ability to read a tape measure

Computer skills; entry data and retrieval

Ability to operate bar coder- Understanding of product, parts and location

Licensed PIT operator

Oral communication skills

Basic team skills

Basic organizational skills

Physical ability to perform job duties

Demonstrated ability to work without direct supervision

Understanding of related safety policies and procedures


WORK PACE:
Work Pace Type: Task Defined

The work pace will be determined differently depending on material being built.

Overtime: Occasionally workers will be required to work overtime

**PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
