Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for fabrication, assembly operations, and managing the flow of material throughout the plant by performing the following duties

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Work in a safe manner and follow safety policies. Help ensure co-workers are working safely and following safety policies.

Follow all applicable procedures, Standardized Work, Control Plans, and Product Specifications.

Participate in required 5S and Autonomous Maintenance activities.

Learn, understand and implement AMS and continuous improvement concepts.

Support and participate in Employee Engagement activities.

Work to an established rate as defined by customer demand and Standardized Work.

Operate manufacturing equipment and use hand tools as required.

Rotate as required through multiple jobs.

May or may not operate a powered industrial truck (PIT) based on operations/department need.

Identify problems, communicate issues to Crew Leads and Supervisors, and assist with problem-solving.

Assist with training co-workers.

Support a respectful workplace.

Perform other duties across the plant as needed as directed by supervision or management.


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
High school diploma, GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Basic computer skills.

Minimum of one year experience in a related field or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities.

Ability to read and understand reports and a willingness to cross train on several operations.

Strong communication, teamwork, problem solving and leadership skills.

Dependability/punctuality.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS FOR ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Tier III
Ability to safely lift and carry up to 55 pounds

Ability to safely push and/or pull up to 82 pounds of force

Climb stairs/steps at will

Obtain a variety of positions such as stooping, reaching, twisting, etc.

Ability to grasp and pinch frequently throughout the day

Work around and near moving equipment and machinery

Pay Range:

$22.05 - $26.11

**PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
