Job Description:

Primary focus is on leveraging multiple maintenance skills to support EDGE Andersen Equipment Solutions.   This is a technical role that will require skills in multiple disciplines listed below to support the fabrication and assembly of automation equipment for the enterprise.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Perform day-to-day tasks leveraging multiple maintenance skills to support equipment builds.
Support Metal fabrication at EDGE Hudson location.
Kit, sort and organize fabricated and purchased parts to support machine build.
Support Weld shop with various welding projects.
Strong focus on customer service
Understand safety rules and procedures to safely perform all tasks.
Know and practice respectful workplace behavior.
This is a technical occupation that will require continued education and experience to support the overall team.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

2 - year technical degree or diploma in a maintenance discipline.
3-5 years’ experience in a maintenance trade.
Strong mechanical aptitude
DOT medical card or ability to gain one.
Proficient at print reading and tolerance interpretation.
3d cad modeling software experience.
Welding and material preparation.
Understand the basics of electrical machine controls.
Understand mechanical fastener types, application and installation procedures.
Understand pneumatic valve configuration, operation and component.
Understand basic machine shop skills and machine safety.
Machine build experience.

NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

Carpentry and paint booth experience
Electrical experience
Machine design experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY:

Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
Must be able to occasionally lift 50 lbs.
Some heavy lifting required at low frequency. Equipment is provided to move/manipulate heavy components.
Requires repetitive action such as simple starting, grasping, firm grasping and fine manipulating.
Outside work required
Handling hazardous waste wearing the appropriate PPE
Working near energized electric circuits
Working near/on hot equipment/materials

Pay Range:

$31.45 - $39.32

**PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
