Job Description:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Select and install proper tooling
Insure accurate set-up 
Make adjustments to machine and tooling, as required 
Troubleshoot material and machine problems 
Select, inspect and machine material 
Assure quality standards understood and they are met
Ability to constructively work with others - Perform Safety audits
Follow standard work, control plans, and written work instructions 
Participate in continuous improvement process and other lean initiatives 
Compile daily reports 
Assure conformance with the 5S program 
Assure compliance with all related safety policies and procedures
Understand and participate in achieving departmental and company goals 
Serve as a member of the manufacturing team, providing assistance as needed

QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
High School Graduate/GED/HSED 
Basic reading, writing and math skills 
Demonstrated ability to use calipers, tape measures and read prints 
Demonstrated product and machinery knowledge 
Troubleshooting and problem solving skills 
Oral communication skills 
Basic team skills
Basic organizational skills 
Ability to operate lift equipment as needed 
Physical ability to perform job duties 
Demonstrated ability to work without direct supervision 
Understanding of related safety policies and procedures
Must be able to perform all essential duties of a Machine Operator 1

WORK PACE:
Work Pace Type: Task Defined
The work pace will be determined differently depending on material being built
Overtime: Occasionally workers will be required to work overtime

Pay Range:

$24.30 - $27.45

**PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
