About this role
Job Summary:
A Service Technician, is responsible for completing service projects, assisting in construction projects, and supporting rebar fabrication area as needed. Execute scope, budget, and schedule (in conjunction with sales and construction division, if needed) while also ensuring that the operations meet the clients standards and expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Employee will report to the Branch Manager
- Work with the Service Manager to complete service jobs within the scope of the project assigned
- Assist on construction jobsite management to help meet deadlines as needed
- Assist with deliveries of any necessary equipment and supplies for service work or construction projects
- Assist the Branch Manager as needed to correctly pull project supplies and equipment.
- This position will also support the rebar fabrication area using machinery to bend and cut rebar.
- Work with manager to assign necessary sub-contractors and/or MLS team members. (Plumbing, electrical, general labor, etc.)
- Managing MLS equipment and/or rental equipment for service projects
- Maintaining constant channels of communication with customers and sales representatives to exceed customer expectations
- Execute punch lists, closeout documentation, and quality control
- Suggesting improvements to customer service
- Implementing improvements to customer service and overall customer satisfaction
- Work to meet the immediate needs of the customers by delivering prompt and professional solutions
- Developing innovative and strategic approaches to improve internal processes to ensure consistency
- Review of industry trends to ensure standards and best practices
Education / Experience:
- Associate Degree or service experience preferred.
- Microsoft Office and customer service skills are necessary.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.

- Computer Skills (Word, Excel, Microsoft Office)
- Willingness to learn Acumatica software
- Good communication skills
- Organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
- Positive attitude at all times
- Team oriented personality
- Valid CDL driver’s license
