About this role
As a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, we are looking for someone who has:
- Ability to understand Mechanical Manufacturing Processes i.e. Machining (heavy experience in Gears), Casting, Sheet metal, Fabrication, Injection Molding, Extrusion, Rubber
- Ability to work with suppliers for Quality requirement & Process improvements to meet Quality requirements of AMETEK BU’s
- Ability to identify Supply chain risk due to Quality issues and proactively create mitigation plan
- Following up on Project development and inspecting and approving on the FAI’s
- Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with safety Standards
- Has the authority to stop any process or product delivery in case of serious non-conformance (customer expectations or safety and regulations issues…)
- Interactions with BU, supplier, sourcing manager, Engineering on the technical requirement and ensuring the ontime FAI submission and PPAP approval to BU
- Creating and conducting supplier Audits and ensuring of closer of Action plans for NC’s
- Ability to work closely with Suppliers for 8D and closing of actions for all production issues from BU and ensuring of horizontal implementation of actions for similar parts / suppliers
- Ability to monitor supplier performance and work with suppliers to drive actions to improve on the performance of Quality

What you'll do
- The Senior Supplier Quality Engineer will work with suppliers to ensure quality requirements are met and to drive process improvements. They will also be responsible for inspecting production cycles and managing supplier audits.
