Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electronics Assembler with expertise in precision soldering. The ideal candidate will have experience working under a microscope, assembling electronic components, and interpreting engineering documentation. This role requires excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and a strong focus on quality and accuracy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble complex amplifiers following work instructions, assembly drawings, schematics, and detailed instructions from Engineering/Work Order packets.
  • Assemble, repair and harness larger assemblies and units adapting and modifying cabinets as needed.and supporting structures as required.
  • Read, interpret and correct wire lists, assembly drawings and schematics.
  • Perform precision soldering of SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and through-hole components under a microscope.
  • Demonstrate excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and steady hands for fine assembly work.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and sustained focus during intricate tasks.
  • Apply various soldering techniques in compliance with IPC-A-610 standards for electronic assemblies.
  • Assemble electronic components and circuit boards according to layout specifications.
  • Utilize hand tools, tweezers, and magnification devices effectively.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings accurately.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to use hand tools including soldering iron and simple power tools.
  • Must demonstrate a basic understanding of electrical components and circuitry, and follow assembly instructions.
  • Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (with assistance)

  • ERP experience a plus
