About this role

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Nurse Clinican to join our team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day. 

Utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice incorporating assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards and Park Nicollet Health Services policy.

Work Schedule: 
Mon-Fri, hours may vary between 7:30 am -5:30 pm

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
    • Minimum of 3 years of RN experience in ambulatory or acute care cardiology, ICU or Emergency Center setting. 
  • Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
    • Must maintain a current Minnesota registered nurse license.
    • Basic life support/cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification. 
    • BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Strong clinical and human relations skills. 
    • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and maintain standards of clinical skills and professional ethics as established by the Nurse Practice Act and Park Nicollet Health Services.   
    • Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and ensure safety of patients. 
    • Basic computer/keyboarding/mouse skills required. 
    • Safely and effectively operates the following: Various Health Testing Equipment, personal computer, photocopier, printer, and telephone. Cardiac monitor, EKG machine, Pulse Oximetry, and all code cart emergency equipment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
    • BSN preferred.
    • Prior experience with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Prefer rhythm strip interpretations skills.
