Position Summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the U.S., is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Detailer / Lot Porter to join our growing team! The Detailer / Lot Porter is responsible for performing both Standard and Premium Cleaning services as outlined in the Amerit Vehicle Washing Scope. This includes exterior washing, interior cleaning, use of approved supplies and equipment, and meeting cleanliness acceptance standards. This position supports fleet operations by ensuring Boeing assets are properly cleaned, organized, and safe for operational use.

Compensation: $21.57 - $23.50/hr. - Paid weekly, every Friday!

Available Shifts:

1st Shift: Monday - Friday: 6:00am – 2:30pm

Or

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday: 2:00pm – 10:30pm

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform Standard Cleaning: exterior hand wash or pressure rinse, wheel cleaning, door jamb wipe, interior vacuum, wipe high-touch surfaces, window cleaning, and trash removal.
• Perform Premium Cleaning: bug/tar removal, tire dressing, trim wipe, conditioning leather/vinyl, deep cleaning vents/cup holders, light stain treatment.
• Use proper PPE, including visor shields, gloves, and non-slip footwear.
• Utilize pressure washers, hoses, vacuums, and all cleaning chemicals per Amerit guidelines.
• Complete work orders following RO and child work order processes.
• Maintain equipment, cleaning areas, and ensure safe operations in Boeing-approved zones.
• Move, stage, and reposition vehicles as required.

Key Competencies:

• Strong attention to appearance quality and cleanliness standards.
• Ability to follow detailed processes and documentation steps.
• Experience operating cleaning tools and equipment.
• Basic computer skills for RO documentation.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with automotive and operational teams.

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to weather, water, chemicals, and cleaning agents.
• Frequent bending, standing, lifting, and repetitive motions.
• Work performed in approved Boeing wash areas.
• High-traffic aerospace/industrial environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to operate vehicles safely.
• 0–3+ years’ experience.
• Ability to work assigned shift consistently.

Working Conditions

• Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
• Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.
• Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants
• Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance 
• Ability to move and position heavy objects 
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
