Job DetailsJob Location: Wellbe Chicago IL - Elmhurst, IL 60126Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $41.00 - $46.00 HourlyJob Shift: 12 Hour Shift - DayJob Summary   QuikMedic is seeking experienced, highly motivated individuals to fill the position of Operations Supervisor. Reporting to the Area Manager, as an Operations Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of mobile urgent care services within our organization. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our mobile urgent care paramedic teams, ensuring adherence to protocols, and maintaining high standards of patient care. This role requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure and efficiency.  Key Responsibilities:  1. Team Leadership and Management:  Supervise and coordinate the activities of the QuikMedic team, including LPNs and paramedics, ensuring adequate staffing levels and optimal team performance.  Provide guidance, mentorship, and support the staff, fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.  In collaboration with the Area Manager, conduct regular performance evaluations, identify training needs, and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members.  2. Clinical Oversight:  Ensure compliance with medical protocols, standards of care, and regulatory requirements in the provision of QuikMedic medical services.  Review patient care reports, assess clinical outcomes, and provide feedback to QuikMedic staff to enhance clinical competency and quality of care.  Stay abreast of advancements in mobile urgent care practice and disseminate relevant information to the QuikMedic team to promote best practices and evidence-based care.  3. Operational Management:  Manage resources effectively, including QuikMedic vehicles, medical equipment, and supplies, to ensure readiness for urgent response.  Coordinate with dispatchers, external stakeholders, to optimize response times and patient outcomes.  Monitor and evaluate QuikMedic operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, safety, and patient satisfaction.  Coordinate supply requests and place orders as needed.  Overview daily schedule to ensure appropriate provider coordination.   Ensure the schedule is filled for the day and week to come.   Organize time off requests.  Assist in the hiring process.  Ensure compliance with key performance metrics.   Coach employees for growth and development.  Assist in NEOP teaching and other leadership meetings.  4. Quality Assurance and Compliance:  In coordination with the Area Manager, develop and implement quality assurance initiatives to monitor and improve the delivery of QuikMedic services, including conducting audits, reviewing documentation, and analyzing performance metrics.  Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and organizational policies related to QuikMedic operations and patient care.  5. Additional Roles and Responsibilities:  Knowing that the mobile urgent care field is always growing and advancing, the expectation will be that the Operations Supervisor will be flexible and willing to accept new responsibilities as needed.  The Supervisor will be available to fill any open shifts in their designated markets to ensure adequate staffing.  Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in emergency medical services, Nursing, or related field (preferred).  Current certification as a Paramedic or LPN with extensive EMS experience.  Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role within an EMS agency or similar healthcare setting.  Strong clinical skills and knowledge of emergency medical procedures, protocols, and equipment.  Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.  Ability to prioritize tasks, make sound decisions under pressure, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.  Proficiency in computer applications and electronic medical records systems.  Valid driver's license and clean driving record.  Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed  The above are intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed by the person/people in this position.
