This role contributes to new model development through market analysis, customer insights, and business condition assessments, supports line up strategies aligned with customer needs, business objectives, and regulatory requirements, and leads communication and coordination for product launches to ensure successful sales promotion activities. The position serves as the voice of the customer throughout product concept, design, and testing phases, recommending improvements and identifying new market opportunities. Deep industry knowledge of 2W and 4W Powersports products, competitors, and trends is essential to drive informed decisions and deliver products that meet customer expectations and business goals.</p><p data-end="1127" data-start="1103"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong data-end="1127" data-start="1103">KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES</strong></span></p><p data-end="1407" data-start="1129"><strong data-end="1149" data-start="1129">Product Planning</strong><br data-end="1152" data-start="1149">• Support new model development events by generating documentation related to market trends, model positioning, customer profiles and insights, and business conditions including cost, price, volume, and profitability in alignment with executive direction.</p><p data-end="1571" data-start="1409"><strong data-end="1429" data-start="1409">Line Up Strategy</strong><br data-end="1432" data-start="1429">• Support the development of product line up strategies aligned with customer priorities, business objectives, and regulatory requirements.</p><p data-end="1838" data-start="1573"><strong data-end="1593" data-start="1573">Product Launches</strong><br data-end="1596" data-start="1593">• Communicate product descriptions, specifications, customer profiles, features, and pricing details to the Sales Promotion team.<br data-end="1728" data-start="1725">• Lead kick off sales promotion activities and support Sales Promotion teams through product launch execution.</p><p data-end="2178" data-start="1840"><strong data-end="1876" data-start="1840">Insights for Product Development</strong><br data-end="1879" data-start="1876">• Collaborate with cross functional teams during product concept, design development, and testing while serving as the voice of the customer.<br data-end="2023" data-start="2020">• Provide recommendations for design modifications and identify new market opportunities.<br data-end="2115" data-start="2112">• Coordinate logistics for parts, test equipment, and vehicles.</p><p data-end="2476" data-start="2180"><strong data-end="2201" data-start="2180">Product Knowledge</strong><br data-end="2204" data-start="2201">• Build and maintain deep knowledge of the 2W and 4W Powersports industry, including Honda and competitor product line ups.<br data-end="2330" data-start="2327">• Analyze market and customer insight reports, monitor industry trends, and participate in shows, events, dealer visits, and customer engagements.</p><p data-end="2525" data-start="2483"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong data-end="2525" data-start="2483">QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS</strong></span></p><p data-end="2668" data-start="2527"><strong data-end="2565" data-start="2527">Minimum Educational Qualifications</strong><br data-end="2568" data-start="2565">• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline or equivalent work experience.</p><p data-end="2790" data-start="2670"><strong data-end="2692" data-start="2670">Minimum Experience</strong><br data-end="2695" data-start="2692">• Minimum of 5 years of experience with a degree or 8 or more years of related work experience.</p><p data-end="3409" data-start="2792"><strong data-end="2821" data-start="2792">Other Job Specific Skills</strong><br data-end="2824" data-start="2821">• Strong understanding of Honda and competitor product lines, technology, Powersports industry conditions, and consumer behavior.<br data-end="2956" data-start="2953">• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and multiple web based databases.<br data-end="3028" data-start="3025">• Experience with SPSS, Tableau, and Power BI preferred.<br data-end="3087" data-start="3084">• Strong decision making ability and capability to communicate product concepts with confidence and clarity.<br data-end="3198" data-start="3195">• Strong planning, implementation, and project management skills.<br data-end="3266" data-start="3263">• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.<br data-end="3329" data-start="3326">• Confidence interacting with all levels of management and executive leadership.</p><p data-end="3409" data-start="2792"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong data-end="5220" data-start="5198">WORKING CONDITIONS</strong></span><br data-end="5223" data-start="5220">• Travel required approximately six times per year depending on project needs.<br data-end="5304" data-start="5301">• Primarily desk based work with frequent keyboard use.<br data-end="5362" data-start="5359">• May be exposed to hazardous chemicals or equipment, including on road and off road riding or driving.<br data-end="5468" data-start="5465">• Overtime expected based
