Job DetailsJob Location: American Fuji Seal NC - Newton, NC 28658Salary Range: $20.00 - $22.00 HourlyNote: When applying, please state which shift you are interested in. Openings are on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. General Responsibilities: To perform all job duties associated with supporting the Shrink Printing Department. Duties may include operating machinery, cleaning, and handling non-hazardous material. Essential Job Functions: Operate the parts washer and all tasks associated with supplying the press with clean parts for production. Perform routine preventative tasks on the parts washer that maintains the unit to ensure that the equipment is always ready for production. Proper handling of all non-hazardous materials (i.e. waste) leaving the department and processing of waste materials with onsite distillation equipment. The removal of all trash and scrap from the department to the appropriate destinations. To maintain a clean and safe work environment. All other appropriate duties as assigned by the management team. Check on-hand materials for press and prepress (i.e. tapes, cores) and restock as needed. Operate floor scrubber in production areas as scheduled. Assist with general facility housekeeping. Act as backup for the press helper in the event additional staffing is needed in the department. Addresses conflicts constructively while maintaining a respectful and inclusive team environment.   Required Qualifications: High School Diploma equivalent Demonstrated insight into mechanical and process analysis Must communicate in both verbal and written matters Ability to work overtime and any schedule that management deems necessary to maintain production   Physical Demands:  Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, and pulling are required. Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force to move objects. The worker is required to have visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing the computer and working within arm’s reach. The worker may be subject to hazards: proximity to moving forklifts and stored chemicals.
