The Global Accounts Receivables team is part of the Enterprise Platforms Centre of Excellence (COE). The team plays a key role in the development of New Card Products, Benefit Programs, Lending and Commerce initiatives that help grow revenue, deepen customer engagement, and increase card member value. The team drives the development of products and software that deliver on business growth while increasing speed to market, enhancing customer experience, and building out our global next generation cloud based microservices platform for Accounts Receivable.  

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Manager to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to solve complex problems, drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions to market. As a pivotal member of our scrum team, you’ll lead capability discovery, define features, and execute on a roadmap to meet our business goals. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on a technical product, a strategic thinker, curious, with a proven track record in product management, and a passion for product execution. 

How will you make an impact in this role? 

  • Product execution: Partner closely with the scrum team to execute the roadmap, ensuring high-quality delivery of features on time. Lead the prioritisation and execution of capabilities to deliver against OKRs.

  • Backlog management: Build a backlog of prioritised work by working closely with the tech lead.

  • Solve complex problems: Translate abstract ideas into meaningful, detailed features and user stories with BDD acceptance criteria.

  • Lead Discovery: Uncover innovative opportunities that add value to the product.

  • Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to identify, define, and prioritize capabilities that align with business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in Software Product Management as a product manager.

  • University Degree required or comparable experience in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering technical products, preferably in finance or accounts receivable.

  • Expertise in capability discovery, feature definition, and roadmap execution.

  • Solid understanding of BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) practices and ability to write acceptance criteria.

  • Track record of delivering high-quality features that align with business goals.

  • Problem solving, organizational and analytical skills.

  • Quick learner and driven to learn new functionality.

  • Ability to decompose abstract information into meaningful and detailed business features.

  • Team skills, including ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels within organization.

  • Strong written & verbal communication.

  • Ability to manage scope against team capacity and priorities and complete tasks. 

  • Familiarity with financial systems, processes, or technologies.

  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience as a product manager in a technical, agile environment.

  • Proven experience working with scrum teams to deliver technical products, ideally in finance or accounts receivable.

  • Strong technical acumen, with the ability to understand complex systems and dependencies.

  • Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to write detailed user stories with BDD acceptance criteria.

  • Attention to detail to ensure feature quality, clear documentation, and smooth execution.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and uncover opportunities.

  • Experience conducting product demos and communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Quick learner with a proactive mindset to understand new domains and technologies.

  • Adept at decomposing complex information into clear, actionable deliverables.
