How will you make an impact in this role?

Function Description:

  • This is a Payments processor role, processing payments in Payment Portal related to Treasury, Inter Company, CBR, etc.

Purpose of the role:

  • This is a Critical Role thus ensuring that all the Critical, Regulated and Contractual payments are remitted to third parties accurately and timely.

Responsibilities:

This is a global role, and the incumbent is primarily responsible for:

  1. Processing payment requests received from various Business Units in Payment Portal.
  2. Accurate and timely processing of payments within defined SLA's Past Experience
  3. Understanding the complexities and nuisances related to payments norms of individual markets
  4. Ensuring that payment requests are duly approved by authorized approvers of respective Business Units
  5. Performing the Day end reconciliation of payments
  6. Communicating and liasioning with banks to follow up on the status of the payments
  7. Maintaining daily payment trackers
  8. Providing relevant information to Auditors from Payment Portal Critical Factors to Success:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a Graduate or higher with minimum work experience of 2 - 3 years

Technical Skills/Capabilities:

  • Excellent MS Excel skills
  • Prior knowledge of banking systems and payment operations will be an advantage

Functional Skills/Capabilities:

  • Good communication (verbal & written) skills,
  • highly motivated and self-starter
