How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Comprised of key internal and external servicing functions, Global Servicing (GS) delivers extraordinary customer care to Card Members, merchants, and commercial clients around the world, while also providing world-class travel & lifestyle, credit, collections, and fraud services. This combination of high tech and high touch service is fundamental to Amex’s value proposition and its premium brand. Each interaction is a chance to bring the brand to life for our customers and colleagues and help build on Amex’s reputation for trust, security, and service.

  • The Director Finance – Global Servicing Analytics will lead an existing high performing team of data scientists to generate data-driven insights across Global Servicing.

  • Serve as the central analytics team across GS Finance, creating impactful analyses to develop recommendations, influence outcomes, and meet business plans

  • Build and maintain close partnership with GS MIS and strategy teams to effectively source and analyze servicing operational data and create meaningful connections to AXP Business KPIs, cardmember behaviors, GS OpEx and other Finance data

  • Own end-to-end management of current data model that creates account-level servicing expense datasets, including monthly refresh, data source/logic change management, and ongoing expansion into international markets

  • Present to Senior Business and Finance leaders

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree is a plus, 7+ years relevant work experience

  • Knowledge of SQL, Lumi, Python, and other programming languages for manipulating large and complex data sets

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Able to build strong partnerships with GS MIS, Strategy and Finance teams to expand awareness and understanding of internal data sources to drive impactful analyses

  • Motivated by uncovering data-driven business insights and identifying additional opportunities for analysis

  • Adept at balancing priorities and customers to manage tight deadlines

  • The ability to lead a team of data scientists to develop growth and foster collaboration



Salary Range: $123,000.00 to $215,250.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
