The Housing Registration Coordinator is responsible for managing attendee accommodations and registration processes. This includes securing room blocks, coordinating with hotels, and ensuring accurate attendee information. The role also involves troubleshooting housing and registration issues, providing on-site support, and ensuring compliance with customer's travel and accommodation policies.

As an M&E Event Coordinator, you’ll work closely with clients to understand and deliver on program objectives. Working closely with your team, you’ll collaborate on program planning while providing unparalleled levels of customer service on all travel programs. 

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Lead program logistics and achieve expected impact 

  • Work with event owners to ensure all meeting and event needs are planned for and met. 

  • Conduct research, negotiate, and coordinate relationships with vendors, making use of preferred relationships to ensure the selection of high-quality vendors 

  • Lead program costs to stay within the approved budget, identify negotiation and cost savings strategies, review all invoices to ensure accurate charges, and handle client's payment requirements as defined per program or account 

  • Determine program needs for online registration and assist event owners with communication to attendees, ensuring a user-friendly registration site that captures all vital data 

  • Handle logistics with venue partners, coordinate vendor performance, and staff the registration desk 

  • Provide event owners with vital reports, both pre-event and post-event, to ensure all necessary data is received in a timely manner and program cost savings are detailed 

 

What We’re Looking For 

  • 5-7 years of meeting planning experience 

  • Able to work within budgetary parameters, meet critical timelines, and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of management and clients 

  • Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel Experience

The US national base salary range for this position is from 

$39,200.00 - $72,800.00

The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role.  Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.

In addition to base salary, the anticipated range of which is posted above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus which rewards participants based on individual and/or company performance.
