PRIMARY POSITION DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Assistant Manager – OFFLINE Labs
REPORTS TO: General Manager – Visual Labs
SUPERVISES: Lead Lab Associate- Offline, Lead Lab Associate - Offline Creative
PURPOSE
Responsible for assisting the Visual Merchandising Team and Lab Management in all operational aspects of the Visual Lab Stores, including the build and maintenance of visual floor sets, inventory control, personnel acquisition and development, visual standards and presenting the Offline brand.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Train, develop and coach all Lab associates on corporate visual, marketing and operational standards.
- Motivate and maximize the team’s efficiency through inspiring them to reach targeted goals.
- Assist in developing weekly schedules and manage workflow across all Aerie and Offline lab store needs.
- Support each seasonal floorset build process:
- Drive initial execution of each floorset build.
- Possess strong seasonal assortment knowledge across all segments.
- Partner with Visual Merchandising coordinators to assist in placement, coloring, wall builds and formatting.
- Support solves to all format deviations.
- Ensure placement of seasonal marketing inclusive of small and large format.
- Partner with Visual Merchandising coordinators on all merchandise placement tests as directed by the Visual team.
- Develop a strong understanding of the Aerie/Offline Lab Store Calendar.
- Responsible for protecting the stores physical location while maintaining all operational and loss prevention standards.
- Supervise extraction receipts and transferring of seasonal product.
- Monitor all samples that circulate throughout the Lab stores.
- Oversee all written documentation and photography at the end of each floorset.
- Collaborate with cross functional partners to drive the Coordination process.
- Partner with Coordinators to support Flagship and Pop Up needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong prioritization, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
- Work and communicate well with a diverse group of individuals at multiple levels
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Minimum 2-year degree. Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or Fashion—related field preferred
- 2+ years retail store management experience or equivalent preferred
- Excellent visual organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in PC/MAC/Adobe Creative Suite Software
PAY/BENEFITS INFORMATION:
- Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
