About this role
We’re hiring CDL-A drivers for a steady, dedicated reefer route offering consistent miles, reliable home time, and excellent pay. If you’re comfortable driving nights and want guaranteed weekends off, this is the route for you.
Position Overview:
- Route: Missouri to WI, IL, IA, and OH – round trip
100% no-touch reefer freight, occasional dry van loads
Schedule:
- Home every weekend (Friday afternoon/evening through Sunday evening)
- Night driving required
Pay & Bonuses:
- Earn $0.54 CPM with company-paid insurance or $0.59 CPM if you opt out
- $1.00 per mile for all miles over 2,000 per week
- Average weekly pay: $1400-$1,600
- $2,000 Sign-On Bonus: $750 after Week 1, $750 after Week 2, $500 after 6 months
Benefits:
- Full benefits after 90 days: Medical, PTO, 401(k)
- Choose company-paid insurance or higher pay
- Rider policy: Bring a family member (age 10+) after 90 days
Equipment:
- No driver-facing cameras
- Some trucks with APUs, newer trucks have Webasto heaters
- Idle allowed for comfort
- Take truck home (must park tractor & trailer together in secure location)
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months recent Class A OTR or Regional (reefer or dry van)
- Max 2 moving violations in last 3 years (no major)
- Max 2 DOT preventable accidents in last 3 years (no injuries, rear-ends, jackknifes, or rollovers)
- No speeding 20+ MPH combined with other violations
- Stable work history (no more than 3 jobs in 1 year or 6 in 3 years)
- Clean criminal record:
- No felonies in 7 years / misdemeanors in 3
- Must be off parole/probation: 5 years (felony) or 3 years (misdemeanor)
