Employer pays 85% of employee’s premium.</li> <li>401k contribution opportunity with an annual company match.</li> <li>Paid sick leave accrual equivalent to 1.33 hours for every 30 hours worked (~11 days per year).</li> <li>Paid vacation starting at three weeks and increasing with tenure.</li> <li>14 paid holidays, including 2 personal holidays of your choice.</li> <li>Comprehensive training programs and development opportunities.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in multifamily construction with a certification or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.</li> <li>Minimum 6+ years of experience in multifamily construction with an unrelated degree or without a certification or degree.</li> <li>Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.</li> <li>Proficient in AutoCAD, Procore, and Microsoft Office.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering principles.</li> <li>Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.</li> <li>Proficient in effective communication and teamwork.</li> <li>Maintains a positive outlook and embraces a collaborative team approach.</li> <li>Shows responsibility and takes pride in their work.</li> <li>Fluent in English, with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Your Role</strong></p> <p><strong>Project Operations</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist with preparing and updating project schedules, budgets, and related tasks.</li> <li>Coordinate subcontractors and material deliveries to ensure project completion.</li> <li>Identify and address problems to maintain project progress.</li> <li>Oversee tasks assigned to employees and subcontractors.</li> <li>Provide project documentation, including logs, billing, change orders, and memos.</li> <li>Ensure proper inventory and maintenance of tools on-site.</li> <li>Enforce company safety and security policies and procedures.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Budgeting &amp; Cost Analysis</strong></p> <ul> <li>Procure competitive bids for construction projects.</li> <li>Communicate with utilities, city, and county agencies to determine fees and charges.</li> <li>Write and monitor purchase orders, back-charges, and change orders.</li> <li>Verify and code invoices for payment and ensure vendor lien releases are obtained.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Quality Assurance</strong></p> <ul> <li>Maintain company quality standards in procedures and workmanship.</li> <li>Ensure projects are completed on time, under budget, and meet quality expectations.</li> <li>Conduct frequent site visits to verify organization, cleanliness, and progress.</li> </ul> <p><em>The responsibilities above are not all-inclusive.</em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Our Mission &amp; Culture</strong></p> <p>At American Capital Group, “Our mission is to be an innovator and leader in multifamily housing solutions.” To fulfill this mission, we prioritize respect, collaboration, integrity, and transparency.
