What You'll Do:

  • Provide direct support, supervision, and protective oversight to individuals served
  • Promote member independence and support accomplishment of personal goals
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensuring safety and dignity
  • Onboard, train, and mentor new Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) assigned to your house
  • Collaborate with Team Lead or Assistant Manager on staffing, attendance, and performance issues
  • Act as a liaison between families, administration, and individuals served to ensure consistent, quality care
  • Maintain strong communication and leadership within the team
  • Support a positive and professional team culture focused on person-centered care

What You'll Need: 

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership capacity and direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons 65 and older. 
  • High school diploma or GED. 
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance in the state you are employed. 
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English (reading and writing) with ability to comprehend documents. 
  • Medication Management Administration certificate within 90 days of hire. 
  • Active Mandatory Reporter Certification preferred.
