About this role

Amentum is seeking a Information Technology Manager to support a requirement for a US Government contract on the island of Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean. This position supports efforts to be performed by Amentum including facilities Construction, Operation & Maintenance (O&M) and Support Services on a military island. The contract supports all IT related efforts varying in complexity from minor/major system upgrades, renovations, to existing facilities, and new construction. The priority is to implement and maintain a successful O&M program to provide life, health and safety for site personnel, while ensuring continuous operations of the site infrastructure.

Minimum Requirements:

· US Citizen with current active U.S government clearance – US Secret.

· Minimum of three years experience related to systems management

· Minimum three years supervisory experience

· Experience with United States Naval Networks networks

· Documented experience in the documentation of USN (United States Navy) standards strongly preferred

· Experience providing high quality customer service

· Demonstrated experience in help desk activities, recapitalization, networks, development of system security plans, and protected communication technologies

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.

· The position is OCONUS at a military installation.

· The role requires prolonged periods of sitting, use of computers, and engagement in routine office tasks.

· Mental demands include the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and meet tight deadlines.

· The work involves a high level of collaboration and communication with team members and external stakeholders.

· Other Responsibilities:
