We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our Media Production team. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, visual aesthetics, and digital trends — and has the technical expertise to turn raw footage into compelling, high-quality video content across platforms.

 

As a Video Editor, you'll play a key role in shaping visual narratives and executing content strategies for a variety of projects, from promotional campaigns and social media content to educational videos and branded films. You will work closely with creative leads, marketing teams, and clients to deliver standout video experiences that drive engagement and impact.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, visually compelling final cuts.

Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts, storyboards, and overall production strategies.

Cut, splice, and synchronise video and audio clips with precision.

Apply transitions, sound effects, motion graphics, and colour correction to enhance video quality. 

Select and license appropriate background music and sound effects that match the tone of each project.

Create and integrate on-screen text, animations, and visual effects as needed.

Ensure consistency in branding, tone, and style across all video assets. 

Manage and maintain an organized library of project files and media assets.

Edit or re-edit video content based on team or client feedback.

Work efficiently under tight deadlines without compromising quality.

Stay updated on industry trends, video editing techniques, and emerging tools — including AI-powered solutions.

Requirements

Preferred Tools & Skills:

Experience 2-4 years​

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

Basic to advanced skills in colour grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics. 

Experience using AI tools (e.g., Runway, Descript, Pic tory, Adobe AI, or similar) to optimize and accelerate workflow.

Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, export settings, and platform specifications (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok ).

A sharp eye for visual storytelling, pacing, and emotional tone.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
