Job Title
As a Software Development Engineer 4 (GG10), you will contribute to the design, development, and support of software solutions that power Amadeus’ operational and product domains. You will work independently, guide less experienced engineers, and participate in cross‑team activities while applying your technical expertise to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions. Candidates with approximately 9–10 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
In This Role You’ll / Your Main Responsibilities
Analyze user requirements, conduct feasibility studies, and prepare clear technical proposals for stakeholders.
Design and build server‑side architectures, reusable components, and APIs; participate in all development phases including coding, testing, and validation.
Coordinate development activities across teams, maintain project plans, and follow up on progress and reporting.
Collaborate with operational and development teams to maintain architectural consistency and support transversal initiatives.
Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to shared technical knowledge within the team.
Experience in C++ (including C++11/14), Standard Template Library (STL), multithreading, and hands‑on software design and architecture.
Proficiency in Linux and macOS, Git, Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as Visual Studio and VS Code, and databases like Oracle, Couchbase, and MongoDB.
Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS), Python scripting, Azure Cloud, and debugging tools.
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, work independently, guide small teams, and manage technical discussions effectively.
Strong communication and documentation skills, with a collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering high‑quality solutions.
