Job Title
As a Senior Product Owner working on scaled agile environment, you will:
Manage 2 SAFe Feature teams to deliver maximum value to the customers.
Maximize the tribe / agile team outcome: translate requirements into user stories, prioritize them and validate their delivery
Participate in Agile Release Train / Iteration reviews when applicable / required
Ensure solutions meet the user’s needs (MVS) and product readiness
Develop scope and define backlog items (epic/features/user stories) that guide the Agile software development team.
Continuously refine backlog and explain business needs to the team for each item.
Represent client needs and requirements to ensure they are well understood and integrated into team backlog.
Work closely with delivery teams to ensure they build the right functionality in a timely manner
Ensure that technical solutions are in line with your functional expectations, delivery timeline and acceptable cost.
Accept stories as done in compliance with defined acceptance criteria and Definition of Done.
Strive to shortest possible time to market of business value by delivering minimum viable product (MVP).
Support acceptance test-driven development by participating in the development of story acceptance criteria.
Understand the scope of enabler work to participate in decision-making and sequencing of technical infrastructures that will host the new business functionality.
Perform release planning to help the team commit to deliveries for the next 3 months.
Provide with functional solutions and proposals to ensure that the team’s deliveries will match customer expectations
Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies.
Develop specific and measurable KPIs to measure customer value
Collaborate with other teams across the group to ensure coherent prioritization, product alignment, marketing and user experience across various ARTs/Products/Groups. This includes (but is not limited to) Business Owners, SAFe ART Product Management, other POs, PMKs, UX, other groups, SAFe RTEs and Architects
Actively participate to team coordination meetings, PO synchronization meetings, draft plan reviews and management meeting
Actively participate to System demos and Inspect & Adapt workshops if in SAFe
Actively contribute to the Community of Practice of Product Owners
Drive continuous improvements across products
As a Senior Product leader, you will:
Drive product management activities for the area/segment/geography specific products including the preparation of user stories, prioritization based on business value and customer needs.
Ensure product owner role with R&D teams and ensure segment-specific products are delivered on scope, on time, on budget
Manage segment-specific 3rd party partnerships: requirement definition and prioritization, coordination of product evolution and other activities with the partner
Define the product vision & the business value in line with the business owners, other POs & agile teams
Embark Amadeus teams on product vision, share product knowledge and ensure mutual understanding of the business
Work closely with Operations (Customer Service/Delivery) and R&D teams to define priorities and product-releasing plans for new products or product upgrades
Define and manage product road map
Analyze solution offerings of competitors and inform / assist Marketing team
Manage the budget and financial planning for area of responsibility incl. capacity planning with R&D
Work closely with product management and Tribe Product Owner to create a product that fits the Rail portfolio.
Display strong people skills to build trust and bond with team members
Mentor and support team members and inspire them to work efficiently
