Overview
Amadeus is looking for a passionate and fast-learning QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality through designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, while also contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes and frameworks.
What You’ll Do in this Role
Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for the SRM Flex Product.
Collaborate closely with DevOps, Product, Operations, and QA Lead to understand requirements and define test strategies.
Drive the development of reusable components and front-end libraries to improve efficiency and maintainability.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with the development team for resolution.
Continuously improve automation frameworks and adopt best practices for scalability and maintainability.
Participate in CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and contribute to overall product reliability.
What We’re Looking For
5–9 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation testing.
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript and TypeScript)
Experience enhancing existing automation scripts (refactoring, reduce flakiness, improve stability)
Experience with Manual testing
Create clear and detailed test cases & scenarios
Validate edge cases and negative scenarios
Perform exploratory testing
Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner is a plus).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (preferably GitHub).
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Bonus Points
Experience in the airline technology sector or revenue management systems.
Exposure to airline reservation systems or revenue management systems.
Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
