Summary of the Role
Amadeus Hospitality Distribution is seeking a Principal Engineer with experience in designing and guiding solutions for our Hospitality Distribution products. You’ll help shape and maintain systems that support hotel distribution, enabling our customers to grow revenue through better data access and insights.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Guide and co-own solution design for Hospitality Distribution products, collaborating with stakeholders to align on strategy.
- Support platform stability and monitoring, working with architects to implement improvements.
- Help developers and maintenance teams grow, offering guidance and sharing knowledge.
- Encourage best practices in tools and methodologies such as Copilot and DevOps.
- Work with technologies including C++, Java, Python, cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure/Amazon Web Services), databases (Relational Database Management Systems and NoSQL), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment), Helm, Kafka, Representational State Transfer (RESTful) APIs, SOAP, and GraphQL.
