Job Title
Common Accountabilities
- Lead teams, including other managers, with accountability for performance and results across related units.
- Develop departmental plans, allocate resources, and shape policies within your area of responsibility.
- Anticipate business challenges and define solutions for complex issues that may affect the division or function.
- Work within the division strategy with a high degree of autonomy in a complex environment.
Specific Accountabilities
- Manage infrastructure such as platforms, containers, and cloud operations.
- Build and maintain platforms that form the foundation for software solutions and services.
- Lead the transition from on‑premises and network‑based environments to cloud solutions, applying expertise in network engineering, system administration, and storage administration.
- Develop tools and infrastructure that improve engineering productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead team outcomes: report on activities and results; own team performance.
- Plan and optimize operations: set priorities, address resource and operational needs, and manage budgets and financial impacts.
- Improve ways of working: recommend process and workflow improvements, introduce new techniques, and lead change management.
- Safeguard operations and customers: ensure timely investigation and resolution of production support issues and customer inquiries; promote a safe, inclusive working environment.
- Partner across functions: collaborate with software development, architecture, solutions engineering, and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to design for testability, stability, scalability, and performance; collaborate with the Cytric platform community of practice (internally known as “Amigos”).
Skills
- Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in global or multicultural environments
- Experience with Amadeus teams or products is helpful but not required; we welcome equivalent experience from similar environments.
- Typically 5–7 years in engineering or site reliability engineering (SRE), or equivalent skills demonstrated through projects, training, or transferable experience.
