Summary of the role

• Develop, maintain, and support efficient and reliable airline software applications that are designed for long‑term usability and maintainability.

In this role you’ll / Your main responsibilities

• Develop proficiency in relevant technologies and apply coding and implementation standards to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Collaborate with the Scrum team to align priorities and support shared goals.
• Participate in scheduled operational rotations and help address production issues as needed to maintain system performance.
• Grow skills and adapt to evolving team needs while contributing to continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the development and support of assigned Navitaire airline systems or subsystems, including analysis, solution design, coding, testing (including automated testing), and peer review activities.

About the ideal candidate

• Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Effective English verbal and written communication skills.
  • 0–2 years of experience in programming with C#, .NET Framework, and Structured Query Language (SQL), or equivalent internship, academic, or project‑based experience.
  • Test automation tools such as xUnit or NUnit.
  • Cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Azure (Amazon Web Services also considered).
  • Web development using Angular or React.
  • Software built on microservice‑based architectures.
  • External API design and implementation.
  • Cloud data storage technologies such as Azure SQL or Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) automation.
  • Testing beyond unit tests, including integration or performance testing.

• Additionally valuable experience
  • Ability to analyze information and propose effective solutions.
  • Comfort working in an environment where priorities may evolve.
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn and grow.
