Assistant Professor or Professional Specialist of Artificial Intelligence

The College of Innovation, Discovery, and Enterprise seeks a full-time, Assistant Professor or Professional Specialist of Artificial Intelligence to begin August 2026. If the candidate possesses a terminal degree, this position has the potential to convert to tenure-track. 

Primary responsibilities include:  

• Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in computer science, with emphasis on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and large language models.
• Advising and mentoring students, including those pursuing independent research or applied projects.
• Contributing to curriculum development in emerging areas of AI and data science.  

Required Qualifications: 

Candidates should provide evidence of quality teaching experience and scholarly productivity.  

We seek candidates with a master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field (Ph.D. preferred) by August 2026. Qualified candidates should have experience teaching undergraduate curriculum.
