Job Summary:

The Tactile Inspector is under the general direction of the Production Lead.  You must visually detect product non-conformities, and must perform tasks with little or no supervision.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Conduct visual and tactile inspections of product, assuring conformity to customer requirements.
  • Perform shipping tasks assigned to prepare product for shipping.
  • Participate in total quality management projects to achieve continuous improvement.
  • Participate in LEAN manufacturing and SPC activities as required.
  • Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.

 

Skill Requirements:

  • Ensure quality parts to meet customers’ and APP’s requirements.
  • Maintain an acceptable attendance record.
  • Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
  • In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person.
  • English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension).
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities

Compensation: $18.00 - $18.76 an hour. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
