Job Summary:

We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic that can start working right away.  We are looking for a person to assist in the repair, upkeep, and maintenance of APP’s machinery, plumbing, electrical wiring, and facilities.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Work safe and maintain an organized, lean work environment.
  • Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time as it is critical to meet production needs.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, industrial hydraulic, and pneumatic problems on industrial equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance as specified under supervision.
  • Examine, adjust, repair, and maintain machines/equipment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers
  • Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.

 

Skill Requirements:

  • 1 -3 years’ experience repairing and/or maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical industrial equipment or related industrial machinery.
  • Must be able to conceptualize, fabricate, and develop necessary equipment, and intricate systems.
  • Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time.
  • Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
  • In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person.
  • English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension)
  • Must be able to work overtime when required to meet operational deadlines.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Computer Skills/Mathematics.
  • Must be able to conceptualize, fabricate, and develop necessary equipment, and intricate systems.

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 an hour. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
