In this role you'll manage a team, as well as help own the full event lifecycle—from announcement through allocation and reconciliation—across equities, ETFs, mutual funds, and fixed income (with expansion into alternatives and listed options). This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with deep operational and technical knowledge who can lead modernization, automation, and control initiatives.</p> <p>You’ll manage a team, stabilize and document current workflows, enhance controls and efficiency, and partner cross-functionally to deliver a scalable, audit-ready operation. This roles requires a leader with deep subject matter expertise.&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Your impact</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><strong>People Management: </strong>Manage a team of Corporate Actions professionals.</li> <li><strong>Corporate Action Processing:</strong> Monitor, review, and process all mandatory and voluntary corporate actions—mergers, splits, rights issues, tender offers, warrants—from announcement through completion.</li> <li><strong>Income Events:</strong> Oversee dividends, interest, and related payments; ensure proper withholding, tax treatment, and cost-basis adjustments.</li> <li><strong>Event Lifecycle Management:</strong> Manage announcements, options, elections, allocations, entitlements, and reconciliations with accuracy and timeliness.</li> <li><strong>Client &amp; Custodian Coordination:</strong> Communicate voluntary event details, collect instructions, and submit elections via custodians, DTCC PBS/CA Web/AIP, or proxy agents within deadlines.</li> <li><strong>Controls &amp; Exception Management:</strong> Implement and monitor maker-checker controls, exception dashboards, KPIs, and audit-ready evidence.</li> <li><strong>Automation &amp; Modernization:</strong> Partner with Product and Engineering to streamline workflows, UAT new builds, and drive straight-through processing (STP).</li> <li><strong>Risk Management:</strong> Identify, escalate, and resolve discrepancies; ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.</li> <li><strong>Knowledge Management:</strong> Build and maintain robust process documentation, playbooks, and standard operating procedures to support scalability and training.</li> <li><strong>Vendor &amp; System Ownership:</strong> Manage key vendor and platform relationships (DTCC, proxy vendors, custodians), and contribute to platform enhancements (FIS, XSP/Phase3, AIP).</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>What you bring</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><strong>Experience</strong> - 3+ years of experience working in brokerage, clearing, or custody operations focused on managing corporate actions teams.</li> <ul> <li>Strong working knowledge of DTCC PBS</li> <li>Deep understanding of mandatory and voluntary event types, timelines, market standards, and tax/cost-basis implications.</li> </ul> </ul> <ul> <li><strong>Education</strong> - Ideally looking for a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience</li> <li><strong>Securities licenses</strong> - Series 7 required; Series 24 preferred (or ability to obtain).</li> <li><strong>Ownership</strong> - The pride you put into every aspect of your work is unparalleled and undeniable</li> <li><strong>Superb communication</strong> - Intentional dialogue is a superpower.
